What You’ll Do:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Work collaboratively with providers and front office staff to deliver outstanding patient care
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Previous urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

MEDICAL RECEPTIONISTS
Location: Savannah, GA
Job Type: Full-Time
Your Family Urgent Care is looking for two friendly, organized, and customer-focused Medical Receptionists to join our growing team! As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while helping our clinics operate efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and compassion
- Verify insurance coverage and collect copays
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Register new patients and accurately enter demographic and insurance information
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Scan and organize medical records and other documentation
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience
- Assist with additional administrative duties as needed
- Previous medical reception or healthcare office experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
